College is .... Different?

Ok hi there... I'm at college now. Umm, I like it a lot, but its so different already and classes don't even start until tomorrow. It's like, I have all this time, and I don't know what to do with it. Like, I'm living without my parents, and I don't know what to do or who to talk to or anything. And I mean, it's not bad or anything, I've made some aquaintances, and my roomate is cool. I'm okay. I'm happy, maybe not quite as happy as I was before all my friends started leaving for school, but I'm happy =) and everything is great!

Two More Days

Two more days until the big move, and my clothes have yet to be packed. I guess I'm just putting it off. I hate that I can't go to church wednesday night, but I will see them all again in a couple of weeks. Today I am headed to eat lunch with my sis at schewl, and to pick up my yearbook (which I had also been putting off). I am very excited about leaving. But also very nervous, mostly about the whole music thing. I feel like I'm not gonna fit in very well, but I'm trying to remember that it isn't about being the best, it's about having a great time. I know a girl who is the best, and she's a snob and a lez and no one likes her. So there ya go. I'm not a snob and I'm definatly not a lez, so hopefully everyone will like me. Or at least not hate me. Guess I'll find out.....

Packing

Ok, so I just packed all my dvds and books, and I realized that childhood is over =( but it's all going to be okay. I will be fine, you will be fine, we will all be fine. On a brighter note, I do believe that our youth drama today was DIVINE, if I do say so myself, my sister is quite the little genious (Bailey don't get a big head, please). I had a great time. Perhaps next summer I can be in another one? Who knows what next summer holds? Isn't that the exciting part? Yes, yes it is. I am having a great last few days of home. Last night I got to hang with the guys. I do love them, as will I miss them. But we will be fine. Tonight I am having my friends over to make smores. My close friend Stephen will be leaving on Wednesday, whereas I leave on Thursday. We are on our way to separate colleges, but all of us have already planned another campout like we had a few weeks ago for new years! It will be AMAZING! Thanks a heap.

Hi there

Hi there, second post here. Today is my LAST NIGHT OF WORK UNTIL CHRISTMAS BREAK. Which puts a HUGE smile on my face. I will be shopping until four pm, when I will go to my LAST NIGHT OF WORK =). Then after, my cousin Katie is having her birthday party, which will be interesting. ANYWAY, I shall see you cats on the flip side, thanks a heap =)

My First Post

Hi! My name is Bethany, and this is my first and only blog, so I don't quite know what to blog about, therefore I am going to tell you about myself. I leave for college in one week exactly, and I'm so nervous and excited to go. Nervous about leaving my friends and family, but excited about studying music. I've talked to my roommate, and she seems nice. So hopefully we won't have any problems. My favorite music is Elton John, Billy Joel, Rufus Wainwright, and various others. My favorite movies include What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Catch Me if You Can, Legends of the Fall, A River Runs Through It, October Sky, and various others =). So that's me, for now. Thanks a heap =)
